Hello! My name is Jaxx Artz, and I’m a New York-based writer and journalist.

I’m passionate about covering human rights, often exploring topics relating to environmental justice, LGBTQ+ rights, and civic space. My work explores how communities are impacted by climate change, public health crises, and social inequities, aiming to elevate stories that might otherwise go unheard.

Collaborating with Global Citizen and idealist.org, I’ve written a variety of short- and long-form content pieces that highlight the incredible impact made by nonprofits, community groups, and activists around the world.
